The sponsor says 'Augsburg hält zusammen 2020' showing solidarity to everyone during the pandemic. The shirt was only worn 1 game against Vfl Wolfsburg losing 1-2. The kit was worn during the 2019-20 season were FC Augsburg nearly escaped relegation to 2. Bundesliga ending 16th and lost in the first round of the DFB Pokal. Worn by the likes of Vargas, Gouweleeuw and Phillip Max.
